Our clientele are regular corporate and office business personnel as well as city visitors.
We provide Breakfast and Lunch options with a focus on quality, affordable delicious product selections.
We also provide catering for Boardroom functions and Office morning/afternoon Teas and Lunches.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Kitchen Manager / Chef to join our team and take charge of our bustling kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
- Create and execute a diverse menu, incorporating fresh, high-quality ingredients.
- Manage inventory, track food costs, and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal specials and menu changes.
- Continuously monitor food quality and guest satisfaction, making adjustments as necessary.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication.
- Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or Chef in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to create innovative and enticing menus while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
