We are looking for a professional Sous chef to amaze the patrons of our establishment. You will maintain constancy and collaborate with our Group Head Chef to develop and deliver our product.
Responsibilities
- Prepare menus in collaboration with our owner and Group Head Chef.
- Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations.
- Follow the guidance of the Group Head Chef and have input in new ways of presentation.
- Put effort in optimising the cooking process with attention to speed and quality.
- Enforce strict health and hygiene standards.
- Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation.
- Manage COGs and wage costs
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Sous Chef role (min 3 years).
- Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of best cooking practices.
- Relevant trade certificate.
- Must be able to work in Australia in a full-time capacity .
