About the role
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Sous Chef to contribute to a quality culinary operation that celebrates seasonal and local Victorian produce at dining facilities and events for a range of clients.
As Senior Sous Chef you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day kitchen operation, ensuring food is prepared in accordance with the menu and in compliance with safety and sanitation standards. About you
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in coordinating commercial kitchens, while promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture. In addition, you will have:
- experience in food design, preparation, and service delivery across banqueting, conference and events, a la carte service and in room dining.
- demonstrated mentoring and leadership experience with the ability to provide coaching, guidance, and training; and
- demonstrated experience in the application of OHS, HACCP, food safety regulations and requirements for commercial kitchens and catering functions.
