This venue is located on Echo Point Road and offers majestic views from the upper and ground floor levels of this world class restaurant, café and wine bar.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to assist in the management of the kitchen operations of this renowned local venue. This exciting role will have you assist in overseeing a la carte, cafe and events/functions in a busy tourist hotspot.
You
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (including events/functions)
- Strong leadership skills to the kitchen team and excellent working relationships with all departments
- Ability to provide 5 star quality hospitality service
- Solid understanding of food safety standards, HACCP
- Pride in presentation that is translated the way your kitchen and team presents
- Understanding and experience with rostering, COGS, labour control, budgets and financials
