About Us: Morrisons is a restaurant that is dedicated to delivering excellent customer dining experiences through consistent and prompt service. We are looking for an experienced and committed chef to smoothly execute all kitchen operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained
- Ensure that all food is prepared promptly
- Ensure that all food is prepared according to health and safety regulations
- Ensure that all kitchen hygiene standards are maintained
Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a chef
- Strong passion for food and desire to utilise local seasonal produce
- Composed under pressure and highly organised
- Reliable and trustworthy, with a great work ethic and “can do” attitude
What You Will Get From Us:
- Mostly 4-day working week (seasonal)
- Predominantly day work with minimal split shifts (split shifts only if nighttime events occur)
- All night work events on the calendar well in advance (3 - 18 months)
