The Role
The primary focus of this Parts Interpreterrole is ensuring compliance with parts and warehousing; interpreting parts catalogs, managing stock inventory, generating monthly reports, organizing telephone and counter parts orders; overseeing and communicating back-orders and stock-takes and general warehousing duties. The role would be suited to someone experienced but would consider the right candidate for training.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Analyse existing/potential customer parts needs.
- Regular review of all open sales orders and purchase orders to ensure parts supply is optimised.
- Ensure the swift resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Increase and maximise all parts sales opportunities through a high level of Customer Service, including stakeholder engagement with our dealer network and supply chain partners.
- Assist to provide regular flow of inventory to ensure adequate, accurate and appropriate supply and guidelines are adhered to.
- Provide Parts advise & support to Dealer network and internal departments.
- Picking and packing orders for despatch, using the appropriate computer operating system.
- Receiving and checking the arrival of inventory supplies, freight forwarders and local suppliers.
- .Complete stocktakes.
- Ensure that accurate and prompt reporting is completed at all times.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Practical working knowledge of Agricultural machinery, tools and equipment desirable
- Previous experience arranging freight and transport
- Forklift Licence or willing to obtain
