We are recruiting a Special Projects Estimator and Wholesale Systems Administrator to join our team. Working alongside the Estimating Manager you'll have the ability to add your flair and make this role your own. Duties include providing accurate pricing, good communication and timely assistance to our Sales Representatives, Administration and Construction teams. As well as preparing detailed documentation to assist at point of sale and through administration.
This role is a key position in the business and requires someone with passion, reliability and well-rounded technical skills to produce efficient and accurate work on a day-to-day basis. The right candidate will be talented, motivated, autonomous and energetic.
About the role
- Working with Sales Consultants, Administration and other areas of the business to achieve collective outcomes.
- Provide pricing on jobs through all building stages including sales, administration, contracts and under construction.
- Varied product to work on between single and double storey, units, rural and infill.
- Provide pricing for standard house models.
- Pricing of earthworks and site related costs.
- Margin analysis and recording.
- Cost reconciliation with the Scheduling team.

Skills and experience
- HIA (or similar) certificate in Estimating or a diploma in Estimating/Building preferred (not essential).
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Estimating for residential/project home construction.
- Pragmatic with good communication skills.
- High attention to detail, energetic, diligent and numerate with sound CPU skills.
- Familiarity with different construction types (double brick, timber framing, brick veneer).
- Adaptability and responsiveness to change.
