To assist Specialised Learning staff and teachers to provide exceptional, effective support to students with learning needs. The role is 0.8 FTE.
Who will the successful applicant be?
- Supporting and acting upon instructions from Head/Coordinator of Specialised Learning
- Enthusiastically working to improve the learning outcomes of identified students
- Accurately and effectively communicating with other members of the Specialised Learning team and with classroom teachers whose students are being supported
- Working efficiently and professionally with staff and students in a friendly manner
- Exercising patience, tact and discretion regarding student needs
- Ability to work unsupervised, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Demonstrate effective IT skills and a high attention to detail
- Willing to participate in training and ongoing professional learning
- Qualification or experience in similar roles is preferable but not essential
