It’s a challenge that never ends and drives every individual in our team to make tomorrow better than today for our customers.As a Specialist Operations Planning you will be responsible for reporting & analysis to identify opportunities to drive cross-functional improvement in planning processes across the Operations. You will Improve the capability of the Operations Planning Function, performance improvement to deliver analysis, improving efficiency and depth of analysis, and provide continuous improvement learnings back into relevant Commercial and Operational Planning organisations based on current and future operational constraints.To be considered for this role, you will have:Strong strategic, financial and analytical skillsPrior commercial, Operations, Workforce Planning or operational planning experienceExperience in identifying and delivering performance improvement initiativesProven stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across business units, functions and teams.Business-related degree desired.PowerBI, SQL or other Business Intelligence systems or Operations Research background preferredCommercially focused with the ability to correctly assess the impact of decisions on business outcomesExcellent written and verbal communication skills including highly developed presentation skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a constantly changing operational environmentProven record of successfully managing change and implementing continuous improvement activitiesWhy Qantas?If you’re successful in your application, you’ll join a team where creativity and passion are encouraged.
