Our trusted client is a national leader in the supply and design of cladding and facade systems.
Position in a nut shell:
The role will drive strategic growth in the NSW and ACT markets, collaborate with the National Specification Director and State Manager, engage with key stakeholders, and develop new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive specification sales and build project opportunity pipeline for NSW and ACT
- Research project specifications and engage with senior decision-makers
- Deliver professional, detailed presentations and CPD sessions to design and build firms
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth
- Manage project pipeline in Salesforce CRM, including forecasting and trend analysis
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
Key Stakeholders:
- Architects, Building Certifiers, Fire Engineers, Fire Brigades, Builders, Energy Consultants, Cost Consultants, End Clients, Government Bodies
Key Requirements:
- Proven field sales experience in the Building Products space working with a technical product (e.g., structural, cladding, facade systems, roofing, panel systems, glazing systems, ceiling systems) is highly regarded
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in business development and specification sales
- Knowledge of building concepts in construction
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both on the phone and face-to-face
