About The Role:
Grillex are looking for a results focused Specification Business Development Manager to join the team in Brisbane. This role is responsible for ensuring Grillex products are specified on all new and refurbishment projects, during both the project design and builder tendering phases, and will play a key role in the development of the specification strategy.
You will have the ability to play a leading role in Grillex's growth and success, and there will be huge career opportunity; not only in achieving goals, but also in leadership as the Specification team grows.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Lead Generation: identify potential project opportunities through Salesforce, BCI or similar.
- Specification: educate architects on Grillex products, confirming scope and colour requirements.
- Builders Tendering: engage and support builders tendering to ensure Grillex products remain specified and supported.
- Relationship Management: build and maintain relationships with T1 Architects.
- Pipeline Management: ensure the inflow of opportunities exceed the outflow.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in driving specification with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with a high attention to detail.
- Willingness to spend time interstate visiting specifiers on a monthly basis.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise to meet strict deadlines.
- Effective time management skills
- Results orientated – follow through to achieve results every time.
- Well-presented and of good standing
- Knowledge of, or experience with Grillex products and the industry
- Experience with business software such as BCI, HubSpot, Microsoft, Ostendo etc.
- Willingness to learn and collaborate.
