About the role
- Managing a caseload and providing evidence-based therapeutic supports in a timely manner
- Delivering much needed speech pathology services to clients within schools, homes and the broader community
- Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each client
- Assessing clients’ communication and/or swallowing level of function and capacity using clinical observations and standardised assessments
- Recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and to promote independence
