Speech Pathologist

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Speech Pathologist to join our Allied Health Team at Baringa Private Hospital. The position primarily involves Speech Pathology management of medical and rehabilitation inpatients, however may also include opportunities with acute surgical and outpatients.
About You
The successful applicant will have the following:
Tertiary degree in Speech Pathology
Demonstrated skills and knowledge in Speech Pathology management of acute medical, surgical and rehabilitation patients
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills including demonstrated effective interpersonal and customer service skills
Demonstrated excellent organisation and workload management skills
Experience with complex cases is desirable
About the Organisation
Baringa Private Hospital is a 78 bed licensed hospital, providing advanced surgery, interventional coronary angiography including the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators, ICU, endovascular & general surgery, general medical, rehabilitation, palliative care and mental health. Our theatre complex offers state of the art operating facilities, including a newly commissioned ophthalmic theatre. Baringa has a day medical unit which caters for patients requiring chemotherapy and day intravenous therapy.

Requirements
All new employees
Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
