A unique opportunity to work in a team specialising in the assessment and management of stuttering. The successful applicant will be well supported by a dynamic team of stuttering specialists who provide specialists care across the age range as well as undertake projects and research specific to stuttering.
What you'll be doing
To provide a high quality speech pathology service to patients/clients and their carers to ensure optimal health outcomes. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient assessment and intervention in a multidisciplinary setting. The Speech Pathologist is also responsible for undertaking designated non-clinical tasks to support service delivery including clinical supervision, quality improvement activities and administrative tasks.

How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible. * Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Knowledge of and the demonstrated ability to implement the quality improvement process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy and time management.
- Demonstrated commitment to continued professional development and commitment to evidence based practice.
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge, experience and skills in communication and swallowing assessment and management in paediatrics and/or adult caseloads
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in modifying and adapting assessments and interventions to meet the need of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Populations
- Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
