Our client, a primary School Based in North-West Melbourne is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist to join the team in a part-time capacity 2 days per week. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the communication and language development of students.
This role will involve;
- Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders.
- Develop group and individualized treatment plans for each student's needs.
- Provide direct intervention and therapy services to students both individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals.
- Participate in the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives to promote language and literacy skills.
- Keep detailed records and progress reports to track student outcomes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
- Full registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A number of probity checks are required including holding a current working with children and undertaking a National police checks.
