Sport and Community Planning Consultant

  • Streetscape designs
  • Infrastructure manuals for local government
  • Feasibility studies
  • Business cases
  • Land management plans
  • Major facility funding applications 

What does this role involve?

Working alongside a team of highly experienced community, Sport and recreation planners, including a Senior Landscape Architect and Town Planner, this role will assist to develop project deliverables that require stakeholder engagement, site visits, background research, data and trend analysis and design elements. Report writing for the CPR Group Planning division will be a key requirement of the role, whilst also helping other areas of the business when required.

What qualifications and skills are required?

  • Experience in Community Planning, Sport and recreation and/or local government, or similar
  • High-level accuracy and attention to detail
  • Exceptional professional written and verbal communication skills

It would be beneficial if the successful candidate has:

  • REMPLAN, .id demographic and economic data resources experience
  • IT skills
  • Proficiency with Mac operating system and cloud-based software systems (e.g. Google Workspace)
  • Full drivers’ licence and own vehicle

Successful candidates in round 1 of the selection process will be required to undertake detailed online testing prior to reaching interview stage. This can take up to 1.5 hours and can be done remotely.

Note: The preference for this position is to be based on the Sunshine Coast and working out of our Maroochydore office. However, consideration may be given to candidates that cannot meet this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
