- $83,879 pa + super (up to 12%) + leave loading
(increasing to $86,815 pa effective 1 July 2024) Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 4 of EBA5 - 9 day fortnight
- 72.5 hour fortnight
- Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days

About our opportunity
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Sport and Recreation Programs Development Officer to join our team at Strathpine!
In this role, you will be responsible for getting our Moreton Bay communities healthy and active. You will achieve this by:
- Providing opportunities for residents to make healthy and active lifestyle choices as part of our Healthy and Active Moreton program.
- Undertaking customer service, procurement, contracting, marketing and compliance activities to maximise community participation and awareness.
- Working on operational projects and new initiatives to optimise and innovate service delivery.
- Collaborating with customers, key partners and stakeholders for the successful delivery of programs.
About you
Are you passionate about community well-being and physical activity?
We are seeking candidates with experience in the development and implementation of community programs to achieve healthy and active lifestyles.
As an effective communicator, you will have highly developed communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, to ensure program deliverables and outcomes are achieved.
