About the role:
As the Sports Event Manager you will be responsible for supporting in the development and flawless execution of a balanced portfolio of national & third-party events, setting the benchmark for excellence in planning and execution. You will collaborate and communicate with departments internally, businesses, and individuals to organize, execute and manage events efficiently and within budget throughout the main phases: Planning, Executing and Analysing.
Your responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the organisation and delivery of national Red Bull events and projects, collaborating with or supervising external partners and agencies as needed.
- Manage and execute a portfolio of third-party events sponsored by Red Bull, ensuring they meet timelines, budget constraints, performance goals, and comply with all legal and administrative obligations.
- Assist the Sports Marketing Team with strategic planning and periodic revisions, while contributing innovative event concepts designed to provide unique Red Bull experiences to regional and national markets.
- Drive business growth by leveraging Sports Marketing event assets and fostering strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, aligning with the company's long-term objectives.
- Handle the management of Red Bull's branded event infrastructure, including budgeting, procurement, and coordination with logistics partners to maintain the availability and proper distribution of event tools.
Experience required:
- Minimum 4 year’s event management experience.
- Experience in designing and organising events and projects of all scales with an integrated event marketing approach.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in leading agencies and other partners. (frequent contact with different suppliers, agencies, leading staff at events, etc.).
- Extensive knowledge of Australian sporting event landscape.
- Experience in establishing & strengthening commercial partnerships.
