Sports Venue - Program Officer

Location:  Tamworth NSW

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Plan and deliver recreation programs to a variety of sport, community & school groups
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to increase utilisation of sports facilities

To be successful in this role you will be engaged in the community, outgoing with a positive attitude. You will need to be approachable, have attention to detail and have a genuine passion for sports and recreation.

The Sports VenueProgram Officer is responsible for:

  • Plan and deliver recreation programs to a variety of sport, community & school groups
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to increase utilisation of sports facilities
  • Engage in building positive community stakeholder relationships, and ensure programs are responsive to community needs, including a focus on inclusion and underrepresented groups.
  • Programs can include school holiday activities, birthday parties, school or group sports sessions & modified sports

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

  • Certificate III in Sport and Recreation or equivalent relevant experience
  • Driver Licence
  • Working with Children Check
  • First Aid qualification
  • Willingness to partake in identified professional development training as required/identified to meet business needs

Salary range: Grade 10 - $63,454.36 - $68,667.00 per annum excluding superannuation For a 35 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
