About the Role
Apply sound judgement and problem-solving skills to deliver on one of the Departments Projects.
Effectively engaging, negotiating, building on existing or creating new relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Duties
- Exercising strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Coordinating, collating, and drafting input for the Senior Executive, Minister and their office, Cabinet and Parliamentary briefings, and external enquiries.
- Following finance and budget management processes, completing administration, and reporting tasks, including use of associated systems (such as SAP and Concur).
- Working with other team members and managing resources effectively.
- Ensure filing and administration of information records related to the section is appropriately.
The successful candidate will notionally be offered a hourly rate contract at the APS6 level. This position is based in Canberra. The successful candidate will notionally be offered a contract from March 2024, through to 30th June 2024.
As this role is with the Federal Government, only Australian citizens that hold a baseline clearance or a willingness to obtain, will be considered for this vacancy.
