About the role:
This exciting opportunity is for a 4-6+ month Senior Payroll specialist who is comfortable operating in a standalone environment working within the NFP sector. You will be reporting into a knowledgeable CFO and also be supported by a part-time administrator.
You will be processing the payroll using the ADP Payforce system, current or prior experience with this system will be highly advantageous. The payroll in total is around 700+ employees with fortnightly and monthly payruns.
Located in Darlinghurst (Sydney CBD outskirts), this Standalone Payroll Manager position offers flexibility of working from home and the office. Depending on your experience, the salary for this role ranges between $55-60 per hour + super.
Key Responsibilities:
- End to end payroll processing for 90 fortnightly and 650 monthly using ADP Payforce.
- Staying up to date with payroll laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and adherence to all relevant industry awards.
- Process payroll journals, related tax, STP, etc.
- Process new hires, terminations, promotions, and other employment changes
- Responding to all payroll inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with any payroll projects or ad hoc tasks
About you:
- Preferably have worked in a Standalone Payroll position before
- ADP Payforce exposure would be beneficial. Experience with Workday is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to interpret awards and legislation
- Experience in an end to end payroll function
