About the Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven leader with a proven track record in sales management within the electrical and or building industry. Reporting to our Sales Director, this position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and shape the future of our sales operations.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- provide visionary leadership, direction, and mentorship to our field-based sales team
- develop and execute innovative sales action plans, ensuring the achievement of sales budgets
- Cost center management experience
- directly engage and foster relationships with electrical wholesale distribution partners and contractors
- collaborate with Consultants, Developers, and Builders to strategically secure a robust commercial project pipeline.
- drive ongoing improvement through effective planning and forecasting
- implement, manage, and monitor the ongoing effectiveness of the sales team
- demonstrate a deep understanding of the electrical and or building industry in Australia
- actively stay informed of competitors, market dynamics, and identifying growth opportunities
- participate and support key industry groups and stakeholders
What we’re looking for
- field sales management experience
- experience within the electrical and/or building industries in Australia
- sales team management and account management
- leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- high-level negotiation skills, self-motivated, achievement-oriented
- proficient in CRM reporting requirements and tools
- solution sales experience
- strong presentation and computer skills
