An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Nurse Manager to work as the State Nursing Manager - South Australia.
Role overview:
The ideal candidate would be a progressive, energetic leader with operational management experience.
The role would be responsible for providing clinical advice, direction, and the delivery of quality nursing services, in accordance with relevant standard and legislative requirements for SA, for 6 centres across metro areas.

Key capabilities & Experience
- Bachelor of Nursing Degree or the completion of a Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia approved program of study as an equivalent
- Previous experience in a general practice environment
- Knowledge of Accreditation systems and processes as applied to a General Practice setting.
- Experience in the management of Nurses.
- Effectively provide clinical direction and expertise to Centres' Nurses
- Partner with Centres to foster a culture of clinical excellence and safety of nursing services to patients.
- Partner with nursing staff to implement relevant policies, procedures and systems within the Treatment Room and Centre
- Support with implementation of company initiatives such as Nurse led clinics and health management projects.
- Proactively partner with the National Clinical Governance team to investigate and resolve clinical incidents and key clinical risks.
- Partner with Centres to meet the relevant standards, legislative requirements, and best practice principles across all areas in the Treatment Room and Centre including but not limited to infection prevention and control, equipment maintenance, sterilisation and cold chain monitoring.
- Conduct, delegate and/or coordinate the completion of clinical audits (such as Best Practice Recall Audits) and assist in follow up of non-compliance issues.
