Our client is a leader in quality caravans and camping accessories. They are a close knit, family oriented culture and are seeking a Sales Manager to assist in the growth of our business in the Victorian region. The ideal candidate should possess a passion for sales, be self-driven and able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market analysis and respond to changes, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Identify potential clients, set appointments, make effective sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business in all categories.
- Prepare professional, complete, concise, and accurate reports, proposals, and other documentation required for executive-level presentations.
- Achieve sales targets by assessing client needs and following a defined selling process, often utilizing product demos and presentations.
- Attend tradeshows around Australia and organize final delivery to customers.
- Collaborate with the national team to develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
- 3-5 years of sales experience in the camping and caravan industry preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, attitude, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel/work at expos when required.
- Forklift license is essential.
- Proven success record in exceeding quotas ideally within caravan or vehicle sales
- Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
