Uniline Australia Limited (UAL) is an industry leader in the window furnishings industry in Australia and New Zealand. As a market leader, Uniline is now focused on continued growth, backed by a high level of customer service to further develop and drive its dominant position in the market.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, the State Sales Manager will focus on managing the Uniline business in the state of Western Australia and South Australia. Responsibilities include managing the branch in WA, driving sales and, margin performance, servicing existing customers and new prospects. Develop long term sustainable relationships with customers and drive market growth through expanding the product range. Work closely with the product team to find new and innovative products for our customers and industry.
The ideal candidate will have: (but not essential)
- Some experience in the window furnishings industry.
- Have some knowledge of fabrics, internal blind systems and external window/awning systems.
- Be technically astute and/or have a basic understanding of how to manufacture and install various blinds and awning systems.
- Have strong negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to communicate well with customers and peers alike.
- Attention to detail and a problem solver.
- Be results focused and a team player.
This position will be based in Malaga, Perth, but will cover the entire Western Australia, Northern Territory and South Australia, so monthly travel will be required.
A market competitive remuneration package including base salary, superannuation, company car, mobile phone and laptop will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
