This is an exciting opportunity to join Council’s Statutory Planning team, with 3 opportunities available. Macedon Ranges is located to the north-west of Melbourne and is well known for its history, picturesque landscapes and tourist attractions. Based in Gisborne, the successful incumbent will be responsible for a diverse mix of planning applications and requests, and responding to customer enquiries.
Council have 3 great opportunities for either recent graduates or candidates with some planning experience. It offers the chance to work on a wide variety of planning applications in township and rural settings. We seek a candidate who is passionate about planning and who can apply sound policy-based strategic thinking to planning decisions.
As the successful candidate, you will be a self motivated team player with experience in managing your time and setting priorities to ensure deadlines are met. You will also have experience in providing a high level of customer service.
