We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our expanding team, based in North Ryde, as an Order Processing Officer. The role involves working in a boutique team with lightweight items.
As part of the logistics team, you will assist in fulfilling orders in an efficient manner, tracking them, maintaining and monitoring stock levels, assisting with re-ordering, and communicating with customers by phone and email.
This is a fast-paced environment and requires being comfortable standing, crouching, and lifting light objects and parcels during your work hours.

You are able to work in a fast-paced moving environment, proficient or comfortable in using various software programs such as Order Processing and inventory management systems. You can handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising accuracy or efficiency, adapt to changes in the work environment, such as new software or processes, and are open to learning new skills as needed. You have motivation and initiative to come up with strategies and execute them. You are looking to start your career or the next step in a company that is growing fast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing orders: Process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Customer Service: Provide order updates, answer questions, and resolve issues that may arise during the ordering process.
- Inventory management: Maintain inventory levels, work closely with the warehouse and shipping teams to ensure that orders can be fulfilled.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate records of all orders, including invoices, purchase orders, shipping documents, and other necessary paperwork.
- Order tracking: Track orders from receipt to delivery ensuring that each order is fulfilled within service levels.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports to management regarding Order Processing, inventory levels, and other key metrics related to their responsibilities.
- System maintenance: Maintain Order Processing systems and ensure that they are updated regularly to reflect changes in inventory levels, shipping rates, and other relevant factors.
- Continuous improvement: Identify areas for improvement and work with management to implement changes that improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other members of the logistics team, including warehouse personnel, shipping personnel, and customer service representatives, to ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently.
