Stock Controller

We are looking for Stock Controller to join our Melbourne based Support Office. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role is responsible for working with retail stores to maintain and monitor accurate stock on hand balances and minimise inventory losses for the business.
You will be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills as well as the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tasks in a fast paced environment.
What you can expect:
-Coordinate cyclical stock take procedures for retail locations.
-Provide training and onboarding for new retail management team members on stock control protocols.
-Oversee store stock control processes, including manual counts, corrections reporting, and managing deliveries, including licensed products.
-Address discrepancies in stock levels promptly and execute necessary adjustments.
-Daily monitoring and reconciliation of sales audit records.
-Manage store CCTV and security tagging systems, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
-Implement and enforce accurate stock control policies and procedures across all retail outlets.
-Collaborate with Retail Operations to oversee Loss Prevention strategies and activities.
-Perform ad-hoc analysis and project work as required.
Your profile:
-Superior analytical skills with a strong background in inventory management
-2+ years' experience in a similar role within a retail environment. Experience working within an apparel business will be highly regarded
-High attention to detail with experience in managing data integrity
-Impeccable communication skills and an outstanding track record in stakeholder management and relationship building
-Proven ability in process improvement
-Proactive approach to tasks and ability to work autonomously and plan and organize time and tasks / responsibilities
-Experience using SAP is highly desired
-The ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload and remain focused under pressure
