What we are looking for
UNICEF Australia is in search of a Strategic Partnerships Manager – Sport and Fundraising Specialist to establish and nurture partnerships, primarily with sports related organisations, to support UNICEF’s initiatives and programs. Reporting to the Head of Corporate, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to leverage partnerships and increase awareness of children's rights and well-being.
Your day will include
  • Develop and implement a pipeline of prospects, focusing on awareness and lead generation
  • Plan and execute sports industry events
  • Identify and secure corporate partnerships to support fundraising events and projects
  • Create bespoke pitch documents for effective communication with potential partners
  • Manage a comprehensive database of prospects and leads
  • Execute innovative marketing campaigns and partnership deliverables for sports partners
  • Cultivate relationships within the Australian sports industry to secure long-term partnerships
We would like you to have the following skills and experience
  • Demonstrated business development expertise leading to consistently surpassing revenue targets
  • Extensive background in fundraising, sales, and/or corporate partnerships within corporate or not-for-profit sectors
  • Proficient in B2B marketing or sales, strategy development, and strong commercial acumen
  • A successful track record of creating and delivering compelling pitch presentations
  • Accomplished in navigating complex brand or product environments, resulting in the development of new revenue stream
  • In-depth knowledge of the private sector landscape in Australia
  • Flexibility to work beyond standard Australian business hours
