Duties
It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Strategy Manager you will:
- Plan and manage strategy projects, including external strategy consulting firm teams as required.
- Provide input and execute strategic planning initiatives and develop a broad base of industry and functional knowledge.
- Proactively identify strategic issues and define problems for GET and other senior stakeholders.
- Critically think through complex issues and problems to frame problems, scope work and develop strategies insightfully and in collaboration with others.
- Proactively develop and maintain excellent senior stakeholder relationships across the business, adding value through questions and insight and providing independent, informed advice.
- Research emerging trends and technologies to identify and leverage internal and external strategic opportunities.
Skills & Experience
- Experience facilitating strategic thinking and planning across an organisation, such as with a reputable strategy consulting firm and/or within industry.
- Critical structuring and analysis of complex issues and problems to develop actionable, pragmatic recommendations.
- Communication, both verbally and in writing, to stimulate constructive and impactful dialogue among business stakeholders and team members
