About the Opportunity
As a Structural Engineer, forming part of a larger group or as part of a small project team, you will be required to solve problems with innovative design solutions with mentoring and developing your career. There is also opportunity to oversee the fabrication, construction and installation of your solutions.
In this role, you will be challenged by a diverse range of projects for major national and international oil and gas clients, with mix of brownfield and greenfield projects in the areas of offshore and onshore infrastructure. Also including drilling rig/platform design and modifications, specialised equipment design and field developments.
About You
Tertiary degree qualified Engineer in Structural or Civil disciplines with experience in the following:
- 1-3 years' experience or coming towards the end of your Graduate Program
- Competent with SPACE GASS or equivalent Structural Engineering software
- Detailed structural design
- Collaborating with drafting departments to produce drawing outputs
- Experience working on projects related to drilling rigs and/or offshore vessels
- Conversant with current offshore codes and specifications, including DNV, API, ISO, AISC WSD and familiar with best practice installation techniques which impact on design
- Competent with SACS and/or Strand 7
- Sound written and verbal communication
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Innovative approach to problem solving
