Structural Engineer

Intrax Consulting Engineers are an Australian owned, mid-sized engineering company that provide an end-to-end service to our clients across a range of services including Structural, Civil, Residential, Building Services, Forensic, Surveying and Geotechnical Engineering.

We’re looking for intermediate Senior Structural Engineer wanting to come and join our Western Australia team working across the residential engineering space.

What your role looks like day to day:  

• Preparing Structural/Civil calculations and drawings
• Undertaking detailed technical design & documentation for residential/volume housing engineering projects.
• Professionally liaising with clients, drafters, builders and architects 

What you bring to the table:

• 5+ years of technical consulting experience
• A minimum qualification of bachelor's degree in civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution
• Sound knowledge in engineering first principles, residential footing/slab design, timber/steel residential framing design, reinforced concrete design, masonry design.
• Ability to interpret the requirements of Australian standards and building codes.
• Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced service environment.
• Strong communications skills with the ability to work with people from all walks of life.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, and an ability to work to agreed deadlines.
