Working with our client Main Roads WA, we are seeking a Structural Engineer – Bridges based at the Don Aitken Centre in East Perth on a 12 month fixed term contract. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Performing the assessment of heavy loads and the endorsement of heavy load permits Maintain heavy load records and databases Perform detailed load ratings of bridges, update vehicle load ratings for all bridges and provide recommendations on load posting for under strength bridges Investigate the effects of and make recommendations for the attachment of services to existing bridges Liaise with the Heavy Vehicle Services of MRWA What you will bring to the team: A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Bridge design/construction and/or maintenance experience Conceptual and analytical abilities Interested?
