The Australian Institute of Music (AIM) is seeking an enthusiastic Student Recruitment Coordinator to join our team on a permanent full-time basis, located in our Sydney campus at The Rocks. The Student Recruitment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in engaging and converting leads and applications from various channels, in addition to guiding prospective students from initial contact all the way to enrolment and attendance. Collaborating closely with the Student Recruitment Manager, this role is instrumental in meeting the Institute’s recruitment targets.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
- Working to convert leads and applications at all stages of the sales funnel
- Participating in recruitment-based events including (but not limited to) high school visits, expos, seminars, Student Recruitment exhibitions, campus tours/visits and orientations
- Ensuring maintenance of data and application files to ensure seamless and compliant student records
- Entering data and information in a timely manner and as required into the applicable CRM
- Maintaining up to date product knowledge of all AIM programs to ensure accuracy of information
- Contributing to the achievement of positive student satisfaction, working effectively with all relevant stakeholders
- Striving to consistently meet internal and external customer service standards including (but not limited to) lead and application management guidelines, sales service levels and timeframes, and effectively responding to service challenges
Experience and Attributes
- Demonstrated capacity to quickly learn, show initiative, and adapt to new technology or related tools and platforms
- Sales and customer service oriented with proven communication skills (presentation, oral, written)
- Experience of Student Recruitment within the education market including general admission and knowledge of relevant regulations and regulatory bodies
- Experience with CRMs, preferable Salesforce
- Successful record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a quality approach
- Ability to achieve a flexible approach to work including operating as needed during peak and off-peak hours including some weekend and evening work as required
- A valid Working With Children Check, or willingness to apply
Desirable
- Bachelor Degree qualification in Business or a customer service-related field
- Knowledge or experience in music will be highly valued
