As the first Steiner School in Australia, Glenaeon has a fine heritage of pioneering work in innovative education dating back to our origins in 1957. We now educate up to 500 students from Preschool to Year 12 across three campuses at Castlecrag, Middle Cove and Willoughby on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.
We are currently seeking a Senior Student Wellbeing Coordinator (4 days a week) to coordinate the management of wellbeing support at Glenaeon. Responsibilities include oversight of the effective case management of students with additional wellbeing and/or mental health needs, leading student case management and risk management processes. The role will also contribute to the Glenaeon wellbeing program, and to staff and community engagement through proactive consultation and collaboration with staff involved in the academic and pastoral care of students. You will hold tertiary qualifications in a mental health field, such as psychology, counselling or social work and preferably have experience working in a school environment.
Salary for this role will be dependent on qualifications, experience and classification under the Independent Schools NSW Support and Operational Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021. The successful candidate must also provide a Working With Children Clearance prior to commencing.
