As the Student Services and Homestay Coordinator, you'll play a key role in enhancing the experience of our international students.

ASC International, based in the Perth CBD, is part of the Anglican Schools Commission, dedicated to servicing international students wishing to study in our Schools. The programs offered by ASC International are designed to follow a student’s journey throughout their time with us. Everything we do is about ensuring that students have a positive experience and feel safe, welcomed and comfortable at all times.
The ASC, located in Mount Claremont, owns and operates 16 low-fee, co-educational schools in WA, Victoria, and NSW, promoting excellence in education. Our strategic focus is to foster and support the growth of existing schools, establish new schools in specific regions, and enhance our schools as inclusive learning communities. Your Role in Our Vision
As our Student Services and Homestay Coordinator at ASC International, you will be a key figure in enhancing the international student experience. You will be pivotal in ensuring a comprehensive and supportive experience for our international students, from their initial enrolment to graduation, focusing on their welfare, academic success, and cultural integration. With your strong interpersonal and organisational skills, you will contribute significantly to our mission, supporting educational excellence and promoting a diverse and inclusive community.
The Key Responsibilities
- Oversee enrolment and arrival procedures for new international students.
- Plan and conduct orientation programs.
- Serve as a primary communication point for students, families, agents, and representatives.
- Monitor academic performance and support students in need.
- Ensure compliance with Homestay regulations and standards.
- Manage documentation and engage with external bodies related to student welfare.
About You
- Support the ASC's Vision, Core Purpose, Values, and Strategic Direction.
- Experience in student support, preferably with international students.
- Familiarity with student management systems, ideally Synergetic.
- Knowledge of the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018, CRICOS, and visa requirements.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication; multilingual capabilities a bonus.
- Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills.
- Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity.
- Patient, empathetic, proactive, and ethical approach.
- Established connections with educational and community organizations.
- Organisational skills with an emphasis on detail orientation.
- Support for the ethos of The Anglican Schools Commission.
