About the role
As the Student Services Officer, you will contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting the school with the supervision and care of our learners and the preparation and enhancement of learning activities.
Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible for leading the following tasks:
- Serving students, clients and services providers who visit reception and assisting with their enquiries
- Working with the Student Services team to ensure all post-commencement Student Services are conducted at a level consistent with providing a world-class educational experience
- School administration duties including data entry onto our Student Management System
- Student fee collection
- Reception duties including answering student and client enquiries over the counter and on the phone
- Assist walk-in students
- Liaising with all departments wherever required to ensure customer service levels are maintained
- Facilitate walk-in potential students and converting those to enrolled students
- Facilitate re-enrolment through engagement with current students and possible future
Key Attributes and position requirements
- Communicate effectively and display high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member
- Display confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitively to students and their families
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills
- Proven team player with commitment to a client services ethos
- Good IT skills
- Strong customer services skills
- You'll be required to hold a valid Blue Card
- Ability to speak another language an advantage but not required
- Full Australian Working Rights
