Chisholm is seeking an experienced Student Success and Wellbeing officer to join our Student Support and Engagement team at Chisholm.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Student Success and Well-being Officer, you are accountable for providing holistic, wrap-around support to students, helping students achieve their study goals, engage in student life, and balance their personal well-being and welfare needs.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Provide generalist support and guidance with enquiries including financial capability, accommodation, social connectedness, and general wellbeing/welfare matters
- Support academically ‘at-risk’ student cohorts (e.g., youth), providing timely assessment of student’s wellbeing/welfare and triaging to other services (internal and external) where appropriate.
- Provide support to students through drop-in sessions, appointments, class talks, presentations, workshops, resource creation, and support educators to service the needs of the student body
- Provide assistance and guidance with general support enquiries regarding student life including finances, accommodation, public transport, culture, support networks (internal and external), clubs and activities.

You are a highly motivated individual committed to working in a non-judgmental, sensitive, and supportive manner with clients from a wide range of backgrounds.
Qualifications and experience required for the role:
- Demonstrated sound knowledge of the Community Services sector.
- Experience in the delivery of information and advice, tailored to people from diverse cultural, social, ethnic, and educational backgrounds.
- Advanced networking, collaboration, influencing, and advocacy skills .
- Postgraduate qualification in Counselling/Psychology/Social Work/Youth Work and Case management expertise, and relevant knowledge of community, government, and private welfare support services will be considered very desirable
