About The Role:
The International Admissions Co-ordinator will work closely with the Manager of the Enquiries and Admissions HUB to provide efficient, compliant support and advice to onshore and offshore International Students, agents, and staff in relation to Admissions and Enrolment for International programs.
The role involves managing various aspects related to International Students, including overseeing the deferment, cancellation, and defaults of studies, as well as addressing student hardships and managing scholarships and refund processes. Coordinating orientation and enrolment activities for International Students. Ensuring compliance and accurate reporting to the Department of Home Affairs, particularly through PRISMS, is a key responsibility, encompassing tasks such as updating course details and handling fee payments. Additionally, managing commission arrangements with agents, collaborating with teaching areas on CRICOS registration, and providing regular reporting to the Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR) are crucial duties. This role requires providing data for annual compliance reports and updating PRISMS, along with closely collaborating with the student success team to resolve student issues effectively. Collaboration with the Compliance team to maintain the Institute's risk rating and managing systems and processes to ensure database accuracy are also integral. Adherence to company, state, and commonwealth legislations and requirements is paramount throughout these responsibilities.
