Primary Purpose of the Position
The main purpose of the position is to support the Studio Coordinator and the Cultural Programs Officer in maintaining and ensuring the smooth operation of the Pine Street creative studios.
Key accountabilities/responsibilities
The Studio Support Officer may be required to work flexibly to support opening hours, operations and programs.
The position will be accountable for the following:
- Assist the Studio Coordinator and the Cultural Programs Officer with our sustainability practices.
- Maintaining the upkeep of the studio spaces to ensure the spaces are dust free, clean and hygienic.
- Embrace a cooperative and flexible working environment to meet competing priorities.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with the delivery of outstanding service.
- Accept responsibility and authority for all related tasks as set out in the Pine Street guidelines, policies, and associated documentation.
- Experience in the creative arts.
- Demonstrated experience in working within a studio, including care and maintenance of equipment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Well-developed judgement and problem-solving skills, flexibility, being proactive and using initiative.
- As the studio maintenance aspect of the role involves manual handling/lifting/repetitive action, applicants must be physically fit and capable of some heavy lifting
- Current Driver’s License
- Demonstrated commitment to and skills in working as part of a team
