The Superintendent Civil is responsible for the coordination and monitoring of activities for civil packages to ensure they are delivered on-time and on-budget.

The Role
The Superintendent Civil is responsible for the safe execution of various earthworks and roads packages. You will need to be able to:
- Lead, supervise, coordinate and monitor activities of on-site Civils team (incudes Supervisor and Site Engineers) to ensure all work activities are on track and on budget.
- Supervise, inspect and monitor activities of Construction contracts (including Contractors) from start to completion to ensure work activities are on schedule.
- Works collaborating with Contractors to ensure that all disputes, discrepancies and conflicts are addressed and resolved.
- Evaluate awarded contracts including scopes and specification to plan construction and oversee the reporting on progress of projects including input to contract management.
- Working with the Manager Construction to ensure that BCI's quality, safety and environment management systems and enforced and that all appropriate procedures are followed for all works undertaken.
About You:
You will have a proven track record in the execution of civil projects, particular bulk earthworks. The successful candidate will have 10 + years of experience in Construction Management delivering similar types of packages, preferable within the mining sector and will have strong management and leadership experience which includes direct line supervision.
You must have current unrestricted working rights for Australia to be eligible for consideration.
