The role
Do to continual operational growth Mineral Resources is looking for a Superintendent Engineering & Reliability with a Mechanical background, on an 8x6 roster. Reporting through to the Manager Infrastructure & Processing Operations, your primary responsibility will be leading a highly competent technical team made up of Electrical, Reliability and Mechanical Engineers as we continue to ramp up the business' world class Wodgina Lithium operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, empower, and retain a competent and capable workforce to deliver the maintenance strategy.
- Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture that aligns with MinRes' values and objectives.
- Execute detailed maintenance planning and design strategies for mechanical, electrical, operational, and improvement projects.
- Engage & Manage resources, labour, materials, and plant access for reliability and engineering projects.
- Ensure safety and quality control requirements are met for all planned work.
- Implement systems, processes, and procedures to improve equipment performance and sustainability.
- Deliver the maintenance strategy within operating and capital budgets.
- Monitor and analyse maintenance performance through KPIs and reliability data.
- Prepare weekly reports on reliability and engineering projects.
- Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and collaboration within the team.
- Electrical/Mechanical Degree, or other Engineering Discipline with transferable skills.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a relevant industry.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in reliability, planning, and scheduling.
- Project management experience.
- Ability to manage diverse teams in remote areas, considering logistical challenges.
- Proactive approach with exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of maintenance strategy and RCM philosophies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project.
- CMMS experience and proficiency (ideally D365).
- Budgeting and cost estimating skills.
