About the Role:
This role is within our core site management team in back-to-back supervisory role on 8:6 roster.
- Staff/Labour Management including overseeing flights and accommodation booking, also roster management.
- Strong people management skills with ability to manage and mentor crews across a range of cultures.
- Understanding and meeting work schedule expectations within the Contract
- Ensuring work is completed to Contract specification and deadlines are consistently met.
- Ensuring resources are used effectively, efficiently, and safely.
- Liaise effectively with client representatives on a daily and weekly basis.
- Reporting & Asset Management.
Key Criteria:
- Statutory Supervisor certificate (Section 26 – minimum)
- At least 10 years’ experience within mining/ civil / bulk earth works environment with at least 2 years supervisory experience.
- Proven supervisor experience managing crews up to 14 people.
- HR Class WA drivers’ licence, senior first-aid certificate
- Strong knowledge of civil, mining, construction sites as well as plant and equipment and personnel.
- Broad knowledge of HR/IR requirements relating to FairWork as well as OH&S generally.
- Willingness to complete national police check and pre employment medical prior to employment.
- Rio Tinto / FMG Inducted (Highly desirable)
