The successful candidates will be highly motivated and enjoy working in an inclusive team environment collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure a safe and reliable plant. Reporting to the Shift Maintenance Superintendent at Finucane Island/Nelson Point, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and stable fixed plant asset performance for Port operations. Supervising a diverse group of mechanical maintenance technicians, executing fixed plant breakdown maintenance activities.Responsibilities include:

- Monitoring and measuring standards of work and performance of team members
- Maintain 1SAP supervisor processes
- Identify, report and rectify hazards
- Manage and coach work groups on quality, task-based risk assessments
- Strong commitment to the field leadership program and coach field leadership activities
- A genuine commitment to safety and proven safety leadership skills in the field
- Australian recognized mechanical trade certificate
- Current unrestricted drivers licence
- S26 Appointed
- Previous experience in leading a maintenance team in a supervisory capacity
- Excellent safety leadership skills and history of field leadership participation
- Strong fixed plant equipment and processes knowledge desirable
- Experienced in 1SAP work management
- Ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Exceptional risk management skills
- Strong leadership experience in leading and developing teams
- An energetic and enthusiastic approach to work, with a drive to develop and learn
- Ability to problem solve and react to unplanned situations
