About the role
- Supervise Waste Contracts that ensure performance is in tip top shape, meeting our high standards, and complementing our strategic vision and goals.
- Assist with the assessment waste management plans of new developments, making sure they’re designed in line with Council design standards from the ground up;
- Assist our domestic and commercial customers with their waste needs;
- Assist Council with the growth of domestic and commercial waste needs;
- Lead all contractors towards service excellence by setting the standard, ensuring everything runs smoothly, effectively, and punctually.
- Conduct regular site visits to keep contractors on their toes and customers satisfied, where compliance and quality are not just words but our promise!
- Undertake risk assessment reports, with a focus on identifying potential issues and keeping our operations always ahead of the curve.
- Run contractor performance catchups, driving discussions that improve performance, spark innovation, and provide exemplary services.
- Assist with surveys, audits, and analysing data.
- Help mould policies and procedures that aren’t just paperwork but the backbone of our commitment to integrity, compliance and stellar standards.

- You are a dynamic leader, passionate about driving change in waste management with the skills to help steer Bayside’s acclaimed programs.

- Experience in the waste management industry will be well regarded.
