- Build and manage strong working relationships to enable effective engagement and act as key escalation interface between Bank, Group, Risk/governance and external Suppliers and Partners to successfully implement and embed change & ensure effective and timely communication
- Support a team culture of professionalism and accountability through peer coaching to motivate and improve collective performance
- Manage expectations so that deliverables and key dates are understood and adhered to
- Manage a portfolio of critical suppliers E2E
- Subject matter expertise and end to end support in the management of Bank suppliers
- Representing the team on initiatives which will impact the Supplier Services team, including but not limited to identification, escalation, and solutions for issues & downstream impacts of changes to internal stakeholders & Bank suppliers (including, but not limited to, communication
- Analyse compliance issues and ensure conformance with all regulatory and legislative requirements
- Consider, review, and assess vendor materiality, risk, and compliance with statutory, regulatory and governance requirements associated with commercial agreements (including contract terms and service levels) between Suncorp Bank and Suppliers
- Ensure compliance with (or exemption from, where applicable) Suncorp's Supplier Code of Conduct, Outsourcing Policy, Procurement Policy, Procurement Framework & Supplier Management Framework through the application of and adherence to the SMART Procurement Methodology
- Quickly identify and collaborate, where appropriate, to implement improvements to Bank Supplier systems and processes
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of finance (e.g. front line banking, insurance and support functions)
- Principles relating to relationship management, contracts (service level agreements and scorecards)
- Financial services industry processes and regulatory obligations (including but not limited to APS 222, CPS 230 (Current and draft), CPS 231 and CPS 234
- Risk and compliance management practices, risk appetite and governance concepts especially as they relate to business continuity requirements, Disaster Recovery, Security and Privacy
