Our client is seeking (2) well experienced hands-on Supply Chain Specialists for approximately 3-to-6-month period. The roles will be site based on an 8/6 roster.
The Supply Chain Specialist will be the key front line SCM point of contact and responsible for providing all Purchasing, Expediting, Inventory Replenishment, Logistics and Warehouse Supervision.
About you:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years mining experience in the mining industry and previous experience in working at a mine site utilizing the Pronto ERP system is a must.
Duties include:
- Converting and Expediting orders
- Replenishment of Inventory via reorder process
- Obtaining quotations for all purchases and supporting site end users non inventory purchasing requirements.
- Goods inwards management
- Organising freight pick-ups incl hot shots
- Carrying out stock takes and stock validations.
- Daily management of reagents and fuel including reconciliation on ERP system.
- Goods receipting, into ERP system when required.
- Supervision of Warehouse including staff, picking slip process and general housekeeping
- Assistance with inventory management, including cataloguing and material master management.
Essential qualifications include:
- Forklift ticket.
- Current WA Driver’s License
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position
- Previous experience using PRONTO ERP Software
We offer a generous daily rate which includes travel time to and from Perth / Site airport.
Ideally you will have an ABN to subcontract your services to us. If you don’t have an ABN, we will assist you to obtain it.
You must have a current WA driver’s licence and be able to pass pre-employment checks including a full medical, drug, and alcohol testing, and a police clearance.
Candidates must have the right to reside and work in Australia.
