Our client is a growing Australia business supporting the manufacturing and supply chain sectors with large growth plans for the rest of 2024. They have a newly created permanent role available on site at their Brisbane head office and warehouse operation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the purchasing and supply chain management for all production and workshop activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with all suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Understand supplier production/manufacturing and supply cycles to mitigate the impact of supply delays/shortages.
- Ensure all materials, components, and parts for each build and repair are available at the start of the production cycle.
- Participate in regular meetings with operations teams to ensure material availability.
- Maintain appropriate physical inventory to prevent material shortages and production bottlenecks.
- Generate purchase orders for all inventory purchases, production activities, and repairs.
- Receipt and manage all purchase orders.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels and update purchasing information, including costs and lead times.
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost control and budget adherence.
