Form of work NDF AG-Design are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Supply & Distribution Manager to join their team in Narromine.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Review existing distribution policies and plans.
- Oversee execution of distribution policies/plans.
- Ensure records are kept of all purchases.
- Monitor storage strategies of goods.
- Negotiating contracts and rates with suppliers for the best price and delivery times to clients.
- Use online systems to track all stock movements
- Re-ordering with suppliers, at optimal times.
- Liaising with Suppliers, Agents and Clients.
- Overseeing bookings and purchase orders.
- Meeting client’s requirements and working under pressure for urgent orders
Skills & Abilities
· Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
· Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.
· Commerciality: ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner.
· Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
· Time management/organization: accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.
· Fork Lift licence (essential)
· Car licence (desirable)
Salary range is $70,000pa + 11% super commensurate with experience.
