About the role
Reporting to the Manager – Warehousing & Inventory, and working from Peabody’s South Brisbane office, the Supply Officer provides quality supply and procurement support, by ensuring the demands of Peabody’s customers are met by executing procurement requirements and coordinating the provision of materials to Peabody sites in an effective and timely manner.
Key Accountabilities:
- Creation of inventory replenishment orders
- Manage internal and external correspondence through Regional Inventory Email Mailbox groups to address order related queries and/or discrepancies
- Manage supplier delivery performance through effective expediting process and routine DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time) reporting (Inventory and Direct Charge Materials)
- Support and assist the warranty process as and when required
- Processing of pricing discrepancies logged in Workflow
- Routine maintenance and management of Material Catalogue to ensure conformity consistency of regional guidelines
- Identify internal transfer opportunities from obsolete and surplus inventory held on sites and coordinate transfer to receiving sites where necessary
